Done with True Blood Season 1

I am done watching Season 1 of True Blood and I must say, I am hooked! It was raunchy but very, very interesting and appealing to a wide range of audience. If you haven’t watched it yet and you will watch it, I must warn you that some of the sex scenes, especially those involving Jason Stackhouse could make you cringe. DO NOT watch this series with someone you are not comfortable talking about intimate things with. True Blood is very graphic. Sex and violence are predominant. Do not expect another Twilight here. The two are very different. While Twilight appeals mainly to the tweens, True Blood is definitely not for them! I watched it alone, early morning when everyone’s asleep.

I can’t wait to watch Season 2! Local cable providers don’t have it so I have to wait for the DVD to come out. For the time being, I will have to be content with this True Blood Season 2 teaser…

Can’t wait! I hope Season 2 won’t disappoint. I love how the characters are shaping. I love the entrance of Maryann in the latter part of the season. Her character is very intriguing. And Stephen Moyer a.k.a Bill Compton is swoon-worthy! I realized that in the scene where Sookie Stackhouse thought he’s gone with the fire and while she’s walking at the graveyard, a hand grabbed her ankle. It was Bill and they had sex right there with Bill all dirty and naked! Swoon!

I love, love, love True Blood!

I am giving True Blood Season 1 , despite the fact that you can’t watch this series with just about anybody. As I’ve said, there are scenes that will make you cringe especially when you are with someone you are not comfortable talking about intimate things with, much more watching it. This series is clearly not for the fainthearted. And believe me, if you have the DVD version, you’ll end up in a marathon viewing. You’ll get hooked in no time at all!

From what I've seen of Season 2 so far (I'm lucky enough to have HBO so I get to watch it as it airs) it's nothing of a disappointment. You'll love every minute of it from when Sookie …. to when Jason … to when Eric … to when Sam …

I'd tell you, but that would ruin the fun of you watching it later on. It is most definitely worth the wait.

Have you read the books? I liked the series but kept saying "that is not how it happens"

I also didn't like much of the Jason plot because he is an ass. I did watch it with my husband who seemed to like it and has no desire to read.

I also didn't think they did Eric justice but still hope they redeem themselves in season two I will have to wait for dvd too
