Purchase and storage

My Uncle Fredo always wanted to collect gold coins. He has a collection of coins from different countries and that’s where the gold coin quest came from. He has the funds to buy gold coins with. The only problem he has is where to get a legitimate one and the subsequent storage.

The US Gold Bureau gave him the solution he needs. Through them, Uncle Fredo can buy only legitimate gold coins. After purchase, they can arrange for personal delivery to you or store it in a safe place on your behalf. That solves his problems! I do believe my uncle is ready to buy his first batch of gold coins!

While waiting…

Java Chip Frap

While waiting for a friend, I was able to consume a venti of Java Chip Frap and three chapters of Fallen. I set aside the book for later read because there were other books I wanted to read right away.

Now, I normally don’t like being made to wait. But this time around, I didn’t notice the time since the frap was really good and the book better.

Dracula

Dracula

The fair girl went on her knees and bent over me, fairly gloating. There was a deliberate voluptuousness which was both thrilling and repulsive, and as she arched her neck she actually licked her lips like an animal… I could feel the soft, shivering touch of the lips on the supersensitive skin of my throat, and the hard dents of two sharp teeth, just touching and pausing there.
- Bram Stoker, Dracula

One of my favorite books, Dracula by Bram Stoker. I do believe it’s still the most sensual vampire movie I’ve seen. Especially since I am a huge fan of Gary Oldman! ;)

Good reading spot

reading spot

Don’t you think this is a great reading spot?

I do think so. There’s enough light coming from the window at the back of the oh-so-comfy looking couch. I am the type of reader who loves lying down while devouring a book. I also love corners where I can bawl my eyes out when I am reading an emotionally-charged scene. So this spot is just right for me.

What about you?

Increase funds

I really wish I have more than enough funds to buy all the books I want. And to invest on gold bullion, too. Lately, I’ve been thinking more and more about the future. I am thinking of how I can invest my hard earned money on something that will give me back more than what a person normally earns in an investment. Of course, I want my money to grow. Who doesn’t want that? The US Gold Bureau has the information I need regarding investment in gold, silver, and other precious metals. I need to increase my funds so that I can have enough books to keep me company as I grow old.

Enough bookshelves

Bookshelf

I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves.

Great reads

Buying books make me happy. Finding out that the book I bought was actually a good one makes me even happier!

I was asked how I select the books I buy. I actually find good books through recommendations via Twitter and Facebook and blogs. Several of the books I recently bought were ones I read about in three different blogs. I lost the url of the one I got so many book recommendations from. The other two are Fully Booked online as well as PerezHilton.com. Yes, that famous gossip blog. The site ran an ad on great summer reads. I found so many good books through that ad spot! In fact, most of the good books I bought in the past six months came from that small ad from that site.

Of course, I read reviews about each book I find just to make sure that the book is really good based on majority votes.
