I do believe that nothing can ever replace the experience of reading words on paper. Although I know it’s actually more inexpensive and nature-friendly to just download books, magazines and newspapers in digital format, there is just something thrilling to feel that you’re actually holding the words through the paper on your hands.
Don’t get me wrong, I also like e-books. In fact, I have a library of e-books in my smartphone. But my desire to read a novel in paperback or hardbound is still there and will never go away.
I am pledging my support to this cause… I pledge to read the printed word!
