The Bookworm Confessions

It’s always nice to spend an evening full of laughter and reminiscing with friends. It felt so good spending time with kindred spirits. We had a sumptuous meal courtesy of the host. We dined out at her outdoor dining nook complete with an outdoor fireplace to keep us warm (it rained a bit so we needed the fire to chase the chill away). We talked about a lot of stuff including the one book that has me going crazy right now. Ever the storyteller, they listened to me talk about the book, summarized it a bit for them without giving away the whole story. They let me rave about Four!

All in all, it was truly a wonderful evening spent with friends. The best ones. The ones who have been with me since I was in my teens.

It will happen again. I hope, soon.
