Help from a stranger
He was a total stranger, walking in the neighborhood, when they met. He offered help with her fiskars reel mower and her front lawn. She said yes without thinking about it. She said that it’s like he hypnotized her or something. She was mesmerized by his presence. He said that he was drawn by her smile.
They talked for hours after the mover and front lawn help. And he came back the next day to talk some more. His parents live in the same neighborhood but he’s living in another part of the city. He just dropped by to help his parents fix something in their house and thought he’d walk around when he spotted her.
He’s no longer a stranger, of course.
