Has a book ever brought you to tears?
Yes. Actually two books made me cry a river…

The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller was the first book that made me feel like I was the one who got heartbroken. I cried a river after reading it.

The same thing went with Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. I read it for a few hours and my eyes were swollen after reading it. It felt so real to me that I recommended it to one of my best friends and she also cried a river like me.
Both books made me cry. A lot! It also left me feeling so emotional even days after reading both books. I should also mention that the books I read of Danielle Steel left me feeling so devastated that I stopped reading any of her books after Kaleidoscope.
I tried to read a novel using the light from a candle. You know what? I got to read 3 chapters! Yay! But after that, I got so dizzy I had to stop and take off my glasses so my eyes can rest.
It’s so damn frustrating when you have no electricity at home!

I have clear boxes for my books. I don’t like to leave it exposed on the floor, prone to the elements and carelessness of my siblings. But if you are a bookworm like me, you know that one clear box will be followed by another and another. I now have several around my desk.
My dad noticed the mountain-high pile of books before. Now he’s noticing the several clear boxes around. He just shakes his head when he sees my books. He knows that books are my happiness so he couldn’t very well tell me to clear the ‘mess’ around my desk hahaha!
Oh well. If I only have my own room, he wouldn’t see it.

Some people I know think that I am a dork for loving books and reading so much. What they don’t know is that it’s my happiness. They can’t feel the joy it brings to my heart when I get to buy a book I am intrigued with or have been wanting to get my hands on. They don’t know what it feels like to be inside a bookstore surrounded by books that pull you to them!
I guess the only people who can understand me are bibliophiles like me, too!

I wish I am on a hammock right now. Reading a novel from my favorite author or something new that people are talking about. With a really cold buko juice waiting for me to reach out and drink it.
Yes, the beach. I want to be near it. I want the hot weather there. Not here in the metro, at my corner. I want the heat from the water and the sand.
I wish…

It’s so frustrating to be inside a bookstore and you don’t have the means to buy a book you like. That’s what happened to me a couple of hours ago. I went to a bookstore with my sisters and I wanted to buy a couple of books but since I am on a tight budget, I can’t very well part with the cash I have.
Too bad
Books and good food are my indulgences. Buying even one good book in my list makes me really happy! Next time I go inside a bookstore, I swear I will buy a book!

I remember being so enamored with reading this teen pocketbooks when I was in high school. Sweet Dreams. I didn’t have the money to buy any of the books so I borrowed. Some classmates of mine had them so I read what I could get my hands on.
P.S. I Love You is the first book in the 200+ Sweet Dreams books. It was also the first book that made me cry
But my all-time favorite is Comedy of Errors.
Were you a fan like me? What’s your favorite Sweet Dreams book?
