Train Man by Hitori Nakano was one of the books that I coveted when it was released a couple of years ago. If you are a bookworm like me, chances are you’ve heard about this Japanese comic novel about a boy’s struggle to make the girl of his dreams fall in love with him. It became a huge hit in Japan. It became a tv series and a bestseller in their country. The book was translated to English because of a clamor for it.
Maybe I can’t relate to the story or that I got sidetracked that’s why I didn’t finish the book. Three years after my sister gave it to me for my birthday, it still sits among the unread books I have. It is the oldest in the pile. All the others I just bought recently that’s why the books are still unread. But with Train Man…
I am trying to re-read it. And I won’t stop until I finish the book. I owe it that much after too much build-up to my sister so she’d buy it for me. It’s not a cheap book as well. It cost more than 500 pesos that time my sister bought it.
I will tell you more about it once I finish reading the book. I expect to finish it by next Tuesday.
